In this feature, learn about his early inspiration to join the world of international education, goals as a leader today, and what excites him about this new chapter at The British School, Rio de Janeiro.

What drew you to pursue the world of international education?

A realization that leadership in an international school setting offers a concrete opportunity to make the world a better place.

Please tell us about your education philosophy and your leadership style. What can the community expect?

Leadership is, first and foremost, a form of service. Leadership in an educational setting should recognize that every child is unique and of equal value, and that the goal is in partnership with parents to develop each child to be the best version of themselves.

Congratulations on your upcoming role at The British School, Rio! What are you excited about in this new role?

It is a great privilege to be appointed to lead one of the oldest and largest international schools in Latin America and I am excited to have the opportunity to raise its profile even further to rival the best international schools around the world.
