ISS Collaboration Secures Savings for
K-12 Teachers Pursuing Further Education
Current and aspiring teachers in ISS’s community can get 10% off tuition for Moreland’s TEACH-NOW Teacher Preparation Certificate Program, Master’s in Education, Master’s in Educational Leadership, or Master’s in Globalization and Education Research. ISS community members can learn more on ISS’s website.
“I’ve personally audited Moreland University’s courses and have been genuinely impressed,” says Dr. Dana Watts, ISS Director of Learning, Research, & Outreach. “This is not a program filled with busy work—it’s thoughtfully designed for educators who want practical, immediately applicable strategies. Whether you’re in the U.S. or working in an international school, these programs meet you where you are and support your real-world classroom needs.”
ISS is well known for supporting educators’ careers through its global recruitment service, where it works with thousands of job-seeking K-12 educators and high-quality hiring schools around the world. Its newer ISS EDUlearn® Passport offering gives educators access to 150+ professional courses via a 12-month subscription. The nonprofit also recently introduced a special Teachers Assistant learning bundle for just $400 per person as part of its mission.
“Too often, international teachers lose their state certification simply because they’re serving students overseas,” says Dr. Watts. “I wish I had known about Moreland University when I was working in our schools abroad. Their programs provide a clear, accessible pathway to certification—no matter where in the world you’re teaching.”
Moreland University offers flexible, year-round enrollment as part of its online model. Students learn together in small groups with other teaching candidates and current teachers from more than 165 countries.
“Moreland and ISS share a deep commitment to expanding access to quality education,” said Fatima Naimi, Moreland University’s International Area Partnership Manager. “This relationship makes it even more accessible for teachers worldwide to grow their credentials without stepping away from the communities they serve.”
