ISS EDU Expo Shenzhen 2025 Showcases Innovation and Global Connection in Education

PRINCETON, NJ, USA (October 29, 2025) – The International Schools Services (ISS) community came together in Shenzhen this October for one of the most dynamic gatherings in international education this year: the ISS EDU Expo Shenzhen 2025.

Hosted at the Bay Campus of Shekou International School (SIS), the event united more than 1,000 educators and leaders from over 50 international schools across Asia-Pacific for a day of career networking, professional learning, and educational innovation.

“The ISS EDU Expo offers teachers opportunities to explore new jobs, gain fresh ideas, and engage in professional development—all in one day and one place,” said Greg Smith, Vice President of ISS Asia. “Here in Shenzhen, at the heart of a technology hub, we’re showing how innovation and education move forward together.”

Participants joined interactive workshops, leadership panels, and a job fair, while over 20 companies showcased new education technologies and platforms. Highlights included sessions on AI in education, multilingual teaching, and cross-cultural leadership, as well as a keynote featuring a robot dog demonstration, symbolizing Shenzhen’s pioneering role in tech innovation.

Educators attending the Expo emphasized the event’s value for professional growth and community building.

“I came to this gathering to meet other educators, expand my network, and deepen my understanding of international education,” said Alexis Brown, a participant from Guangzhou.

Following the success of the Shenzhen event, ISS is expanding opportunities for global educators with upcoming recruitment and professional events, including the ISS EDU Expo Singapore, the December iFair, and the ISS Toronto Job Fair.

“The ISS EDU Expo Shenzhen reflected the spirit of international education—collaboration, innovation, and connection,” said Liz Duffy, ISS President. “We’re proud to continue building spaces where educators can grow professionally and make a world of difference.”
