Director of Global School Initatives, ICMEC
Debbie Downes joined ICMEC as a regional trainer in 2020 and became Director of Global School Initiative in 2022, providing child protection training, support, and resources to schools woldwide. She has 18 years of international education experience as a teacher, principal, and Accreditation and Child Protection Lead for 36 schools, and previously earned as MSW from UC Berkeley and worked as a social worker in California.
