If Everyone Can’t Access It, It’s Not Professional Learning

By Molly Fae Nash, ISS Professional Development Relationship and Events Coordinator

For international schools to truly thrive, professional development must be accessible to all members of the school community—regardless of language, ability, or schedule.

At ISS, we’ve taken intentional steps to remove barriers to PD through ISS EDUlearn®. All courses and webinars include subtitles in over 230 languages, and we’re working toward increased visual and audio accessibility in our content design. We know that support staff, host country educators, and emerging leaders deserve the same access to high-quality learning as their peers.

And access doesn’t just mean language — it means timing. Our on-demand courses are available 24/7, giving educators and staff “just-in-time” learning they can apply immediately. This shift isn’t optional; it’s essential. Inclusion in professional development is equity in action.

We’re proud to support schools committed to equity, access, and belonging — starting with how we all learn.
