Things You’ll Need

You can update your ISS candidate profile information and add documents at any point. Only candidates who have a completed profile will be made active and visible to schools.  Once your candidate profile is activated, you can control your visibility and availability by adjusting the settings on your candidate dashboard.

Required Documents

Before your ISS candidate profile can be made active and visible to schools, we require you to add a resume/CV and request and receive three confidential references.

  • Resume/CV: Upload a current resume/CV to help recruiters gain a comprehensive view of your qualifications and experience.
  • References: Add at least three supervisory references from the last 5-7 years of experience including one from your current/most recent evaluator. Please use school or professional email addresses whenever possible. Your supervisors will receive an email with a link to complete a confidential reference form.
    • If you are an experienced educator, consider adding more than three references to build a strong profile.
    • If you are a recent graduate, request references from your university field advisor(s), mentor/supervising teacher(s), professor(s), or other relevant supervisors.

Supplemental Documents

While these materials are optional, recruiters appreciate viewing them in your candidate profile to get a multifaceted sense of who you are. A fun video about yourself or a sample of your classwork can only help you stand out as someone a school would love to have!
