Meet the Presenters

Megan Godek, Grade 5 Homeroom Teacher, Hong Kong International School

Teaching online since February 2020

I am a 5th grade teacher at Hong Kong International School (HKIS). Previously, I worked as an elementary technology specialist at Korea International School (KIS) where I worked with students in grades K-5 with technology while supporting the STEM program. Before going abroad I worked as both a homeroom and technology teacher in Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) in Virginia.

Amy Lee, Grade 4 Homeroom Teacher, American International School of Guangzhou (AISG)

Teaching online since February 2020

Amy Lee has been teaching for 13 years in both China and the United States. Having taught grades K, 1, and 2, she is currently teaching 4th grade at the American International School of Guangzhou (AISG). She is eager to share her experiences during this journey of remote learning and online instruction.

Evelyn Lichtenauer, Middle school Coordinator, Middle School English Language Arts and Social Studies Teacher, Independent Schools of Riau

Teaching online since March 2020

Evelyn has been teaching since 2002, mostly middle school English language arts and social studies. She became an international teacher in 2012, teaching in Colombia and then Indonesia. She is currently the middle school coordinator as well as the ELA and social studies teacher at Independent Schools Riau in Sumatra, Indonesia. Evelyn is passionate about encouraging the love of reading that students develop in elementary school, and empowering students to communicate powerfully, whether writing or speaking.

Tara Lee Ronzetti, Learning Specialist, American International School of Mozambique

Teaching online since February 2020

Tara has been an Literacy Specialist and educator for 17 years in the USA, Vietnam, and Mozambique. She has worked in all three divisions supporting students as a classroom teacher, Literacy Coach, and Learning Specialist. Her particular interests are in the areas of language development, neurodiversity, and boys’ school engagement.

Justin Ouellette, Studio 5 Advisor, International School of Ho Chi Minh City

Taught online from Jan. 11 through May 11.

Justin has been living and teaching internationally in the Asia Pacific region for over 15 years as an upper primary educator. Half of that time has been spent working in IB schools and working on primary technology integration teams. His passions include educational technology, design, sustainability and self-regulated learning.
