School Operations & Leadership

Frequently, school leaders must quickly acquire training or and experience in management of facilities and capital improvement project planning, to complement their deep knowledge in teaching and learning. They are expected to maintain universally high standards in their respected school communities, balancing a focus on quality education, while also exercising their judgment about newer areas of facilities management, project planning, and human resources – challenges that fall outside their deeper knowledge of teaching and learning.

ISS is now offering operations, facilities and project management audits and context-based training programs for international school administrators and support staff for both department-level and school-wide needs. These services can cover a range of topics, such as: Occupational Health and Safety, Facility Management, Managing Customer Service, Contract Management, School Capital Development, Security Management, Risk Management, Finance, Human Resource and many more.

Training will be available at the school facility or at alternate location. In addition, participants will gain access to a cohort of other individuals who have completed the training so they can continue to share learnings and best practices from their own school situations. ISS can also provide quality assurance monitoring and ongoing consultation support when needed.
