School Operations & Financial Leadership
Based on the positive response to the School Operations webinars we hosted in May and the many questions and requests for follow-up assistance we received, ISS has assembled a collection of timely, low-cost consultancy packages lead by experts in their fields, to help school leaders navigate some of the urgent operational challenges ahead. Current packages cover five key topic areas:
- Budget and Finance*
- Human Resources
- Occupational Health and Safety
- School Health/Clinic Services
- Legal Liability and Risk Management
*The finance package will utilize a budget scenario tool that incorporates your school’s actual data, to review and further develop an existing crisis budget.
Each of the consultancy ‘packages’ comprises 10 hours of direct online conversations, review of your school’s current policies and practices on the topic, the preparation of observations and recommendations, and a review and discussion of the resulting action plan created by you and your team. Packages are priced at US $1,800 each.
Each consultancy package is designed around a common general format:
- one-hour orientation and problem definition consultation with the client via Zoom or Skype
- consultant reviews the school’s documents/policies/procedures/future plans on the topic
- one-hour consultation with the client following review of the above
- consultant prepares one-page ‘observations and recommendations’ bullet point summary based on the documents and previous conversations
- one-hour consultation with the client clarifying the ‘observations and recommendations’
