Q.
Do you have to be a member school of ISS to make purchases?
A. Yes, ISS requires a school to sign a
purchasing agreement and to understand our minimum fee requirement
before purchases can be made through ISS.
Q. Does a
school have to make all school purchases through ISS?
A. No, although ordering in bulk can help save costs by
consolidating orders for shipping, a school is free to order on their
own as well. ISS handles and is responsible for any orders placed
through our service, but we do not have to be the sole provider for a
school's ordering.

the turnover time for placing/receiving orders from vendors?

help us with our customs paperwork for clearing shipments from ISS?
A. Absolutely. Just specify the exact requirements for specialized
paperwork required by customs and we will prepare the documentation
for any shipments sent by ISS.
Q. How can
I avoid delays with my orders?
A. Here are some things to remember when placing orders which will
help avoid delays in getting orders processed:
Voltage:
Always list correct voltage/hertz for your school whenever ordering
electrical equipment.
Library orders: We advise always attaching a copy of
your library specifications with any library orders placed (even if
a jobber has your specs on file!), or noting "no processing
required" if that is the case. Also, always order over the
budgeted amount by 50% and note a "DO NOT EXCEED" dollar
volume on the order to ensure that you receive as many of your book
choices as possible without going over your library budget.
Clothing/Uniforms: Clothing items should always list
size and color. Orders that include emblems for uniforms, etc.
should always include a graphic (with specific placement
instructions) with the order.
Sports Equipment: Where necessary, be sure to list
grip size, left or right handed, etc.
Computers/Software: Always denote computer brand,
model platform, licensing needs (include number required) whenever
ordering software and/or computers and accessories.
