IRC Registration Fee - U.S. $290 per candidate
Participation in an IRC is not mandatory but recommended. The IRC registration fee is a separate fee in addition to the file establishment fee of $185. Establishing your file with ISS does NOT register you for an IRC. Active candidates must complete and submit a separate registration form. The IRC registration link is sent via e-mail upon activation of your ISS file. Candidates who register for an IRC are eligible to attend additional IRCs during the same recruiting season at no additional registration fee. All late registrations submitted past the established deadline will incur a late fee of $130 per candidate.
Questions and Answers about our IRCs
The International Recruitment Centers (IRCs) are conferences designed to facilitate the recruitment process for international schools seeking new staff by providing an interviewing forum with prescreened teaching and administrative candidates.
Our annual International Recruitment Centers offer candidates the opportunity to meet with international school representatives to learn more about the schools and their surrounding communities. Interviews are conducted during these three to four day conferences and typically 70 percent of those who attend accept positions as a result.
In order to be eligible to register for an IRC, candidates must first apply to establish a professional file with ISS. Conference registration materials are then provided upon approval of your completed ISS application. Please note: Establishing or reactivating a file with ISS does not register you for an IRC - you must complete and return a separate registration form and fee for the IRC you choose to attend.
