Dear ISS Candidate:

Thank you for your request to reactivate your professional file with ISS.  During the past year International Schools Services assisted almost two hundred American international schools around the world with teaching and administrative recruitment, placing over 700 candidates in overseas schools.  In order to be considered for future positions through our services, candidates with existing files must submit completed reactivation forms to bring their files up to date.

REACTIVATION PROCESS

Reactivate your file online @  www.iss.edu

Choose the option that fits your status:

  1. For candidates with files last active prior to the fall of 1999:  Begin new application/reactivation forms and press the BEGIN button.  You will be assigned a new candidate number and choose your own password.

  2. For candidates with files last active since the fall of 1999:  Log in to complete existing reactivation forms by entering your:

  • Candidate Number (assigned to you when you last completed your forms online); and

The nonrefundable fee must accompany the completed reactivation forms.  The fee covers the clerical processing of the forms and a professional review of submitted documents.

No Placement Fees are charged to candidates who secure overseas employment through ISS.

Notification of Reactivation Approval:

You will be notified via email within two to three weeks of receipt of your reactivation forms.

Upon reactivation of your professional file, you are eligible to:

Dates and Locations of This Year's IRC's

The IRC registration fee is a separate fee in addition to the file establishment fee. Candidates who register for an IRC are eligible to attend additional IRCs during the same year at no additional registration fee.

Our four annual International Recruitment Centers offer candidates the opportunity to meet with international school representatives to learn more about the schools and their surrounding communities. Interviews are conducted during these three to four day conferences and typically 50 percent of those who attend accept positions as a result. In order to be eligible to register for an IRC, candidates must first apply to establish a professional file with ISS, and then formally register to attend an IRC.

We look forward to receiving your reactivation forms and to assisting you in your search for a suitable new overseas position.  Please contact us via email or phone if we can facilitate this process for you in any way.

Sincerely,
