Narratives

Be sure to include your name at the top of your document.  Please be aware that school heads may read your narratives during the recruitment process.

Teaching Candidates:  Please respond to Narratives I and II
Head of School Candidates:  Please respond to Narratives III and IV
Principal Candidates:  Please respond to Narratives I and III
New Administrators:  Please respond to Narratives I and V

Narrative I: Please write a statement describing the personal and professional qualifications and experience you have that will enable you to be successful in an international school overseas. (200-400 words - not to exceed one page)

Narrative II: What makes you an outstanding educator? Please refer to a lesson you have taught and/or describe specific achievements of your students during the past year. (200-400 words - not to exceed one page)

Narrative III: What strengths, skills, experience, and qualifications do you have that have enabled you to be successful in your current and previous administrative positions? (200-400 words - not to exceed one page)

Narrative IV: Please share an initiative or significant accomplishment at your school in which you played a major role. (200-400 words -  not to exceed one page)

Narrative V: Contrast the skills you believe are critical to the success of an effective administrator with those critical to the success of an effective teacher. (200-400 words - not to exceed one page)
