The ISS application/reactivation process
requires specific details regarding work history and reference as well as the
writing of two narrative essays. Before proceeding to complete the on-line
application/reactivation forms:
- Do You Qualify for Overseas Employment? Please print and
review.
- Guidelines for the Completion of On-Line Forms: Please
print and read.
- Collect work history and reference data including dates of employment and referees'
business and home contact information for each position listed.
Establishing a Professional File as an
Administrator: New candidates, please print and read.
Establishing a Professional File
as a Teacher:

Reactivating your ISS File:

Reference Letters
Please print and provide to your supervisors (those writing letters on your
behalf.)

(Sent via mail directly from college/university in a sealed

Confidential
supervisory references are required and must be submitted directly to ISS
by the applicant's referees on school letterhead.
If open (non-confidential) letters of recommendation are in your
possession, please submit copies directly to ISS.
Submitting an up-to-date confidential university placement file
that includes references is also acceptable.
