The schools strive for excellence by offering quality learning and teaching opportunities, resources, staff development, and facilities. Teachers who become part of the ISS schools network are able to take advantage of a number of additional benefits not available to teachers in non-ISS related schools. Teachers and Administrators are able to move to ISS schools in various parts of the world when there is a suitable vacancy. When returning to an ISS recruitment fair all fees are waived for ISS teachers. ISS Senior Staff are also very proactive in supporting ISS teachers when they begin a new job search.

Riffa Views International School (RVIS) offers an American curriculum in Pre-K through grade 6 for the current year, with grade 7 being added in 2010/2011. The school will expand to include additional grades in future years up through grade 12. The academic, technology and arts programs at our world-class facility are student-centered and challenging. An exceptional Arabic language program for both native and non-native speakers is provided to all students. RVIS is situated on 6.1 hectares (15 acres) and is located within a gated residential community and is fully air conditioned and contains large, well-lit classrooms, broad and open hallways and warm welcoming façades. Dalian American International School (DAIS) opened with a K-8 program in 2006. The start of the 2009-10 year marks an expansion through Grade 11. The educational program will continue to “grow’ one grade per year until 2011 when the first Grade 12 class will graduate. The school is committed to developing well-rounded and well-educated young people with a strong sense of personal and social responsibility.
In its third year of operation the school achieved candidate status through a joint process with the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, Council of International Schools, and the Chinese National Center for School Curriculum and Textbook Development. Full accreditation is expected following a site visit in the spring of 2011.
The beautiful DAIS campus is located in the Golden Pebble Beach Resort near the Dalian Development Area. A new track and field, gymnasium, and pool complex will be fully ready for 2011. International Schools Services assumed governance of the school in 2004 through its wholly owned local enterprise Academic Information Consulting (Shenzhen) Company, Ltd. Located in the expatriate suburb of Shekou, it is convenient to Shenzhen city, central Hong Kong, and Hong Kong International Airport. The K-8 school serves approximately sixty students and follows a year round calendar. Students are the children of expatriate and Ghanaian employees of a multi-national mining company. Ahafo is in a rural area of Ghana, about an hour's flight from the capital, Accra.

International School Beihai located in sunny south-western China is a US curriculum international school project sponsored by Finnish/Swedish forestry giant Stora Enso. The projected opening enrollment for August 2010 will be 40 students ranging from preschool to grade 8. The majority of the students will be Finnish with others coming from Sweden, Germany, Brazil, and Russia. The curriculum will follow the PYP protocol and feature maintenance of native languages. The school will be housed in converted apartments or villas within the company’s housing compound. Staff housing will be of international standard. ISS has hired veteran international educator Barbara Parker to develop the school as Stora Enso's presence grows over the next few years.

The Shenyang Western Academy intends to become the first US accredited high school in China designed to prepare Chinese nationals to attend quality colleges in the United States. The school will be sponsored by a major real estate developer and private school owner. This bold new project will select from the best students across the PRC and provide a US style high school program featuring collaborative learning, critical thinking, and academic rigor. In September, grade 9 will begin with up to 300 students, and the remaining levels will roll out over the next three years. An existing expansive facility will be modified to international standards. Staff housing will be of international standard. John Godwin, an experienced international head in China, will serve as the school's founding Director.
