ISS can assist you as a consultant to either plan the school or plan and operate the school.

Developing a School

Establishing a school is a special task that requires personnel with appropriate experience, who understand the questions to ask, the actions to be taken, and the timeline to follow.  ISS can work with you in each of the four stages related to creating and operating the school.

Stage I.         Feasibility Study

Key Actions:  Information is gathered, analyzed, conclusions reached, 
                      and recommendations made.

Stage II.       Development Plan

Key Actions:  Develop a realistic timeline, budget, and determine
                       necessary steps, costs and responsibilities.

Stage III.      Implementation

Key actions:  Produce in a timely manner all items necessary to ensure
                      a successful opening of the school.  This includes:

                      Determining the school's mission
                      Creating the curriculum
                      Hiring the personnel
                      Preparing the infrastructure
                      Recommending educational materials and necessary
                          technology
                      Developing the operations budget

Stage IV.     Operation

Key Actions:  Monitor the functioning of the school, assess quality of
                      personnel, determine success of the curriculum, and plan
                      for additional grade levels as required.
