ROGER HOVE
Executive Vice President, School Management & Administration
Roger
Hove began his career in education as a math and physics
teacher. After teaching in the U.S. and overseas for
several years, Roger began his career in educational
administration. His career in administration has
involved working with American/International schools in
the countries of Libya, Malaysia, Norway, and the United
Arab Emirates. As an administrator he has held the
positions of Business Manager, Principal, and
Superintendent. In recent years Roger also served as
a Commissioner with the Secondary School Commission of the
Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.
Roger joined ISS in August 2005 as Vice President of
School Management and Administration. He received
his B.A. from Concordia College, Moorhead, MN, in Math and
Physics and his M.A. in Educational Administration from
the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN.
ROB AMBROGI
Vice-President for School Management and Administration
Rob Ambrogi graduated from Cornell University with a degree in chemistry and began his international teaching career with the Peace Corps in Cameroon. Rob became the Head of the American School of Younde, earned his doctorate at the University of South Carolina and went on to serve as Head of school in Monrovia, Lisbon, Islamabad and Johannesburg. Rob has served on the Boards of AISA, MAIS and NESA. In 2002 Rob received a Certificate of Appreciation from the US Department of State for his pioneering work in the NESA Virtual School and in 2003 Rob was selected as the AAIE Superintendent of the Year.
NANCY HOPPE
Director of School Management/Governed Schools
Nancy Hoppe served for 15 years as a school principal in Wisconsin and internationally has been a principal in Indonesia, Russia, Ivory Coast, Poland and Kenya. The variety of settings has provided Nancy with opportunities to work in many areas such as: multi-age teaching, special educations program, the accreditation process, summer school enrichment course and grant writing.
